Clubs Listing and Descriptions

Edlio Central High School offers a wide variety of clubs to its students, providing opportunities for students to explore their interests and develop new skills. Here is an overview of some of the clubs that are currently available at the school:
 
  • Anime: This club is open to students who are interested in anime, a style of Japanese animation. They meet regularly to watch anime, discuss it and learn more about Japanese culture.
  • Chess: The chess club is open to students of all skill levels who are interested in learning how to play chess or improving their skills. The club meets regularly to play games and discuss strategy.
  • Coding: The coding club is open to students who are interested in learning how to code. They meet regularly to learn different coding languages and create their own projects.
  • French and Spanish: These clubs are for students who are interested in learning about the cultures and languages of French- and Spanish-speaking countries. They meet regularly to practice language skills and learn more about the cultures.
  • Beta: The Beta Club is a community service and academic honor society that is open to students who have demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to community service.
  • Honors: The honors club is open to students who are in the honors program and are interested in participating in academic and intellectual discussions.
  • Future Teachers: This club is open to students who are interested in pursuing a career in education. They meet regularly to learn about the teaching profession and take part in volunteer opportunities in the community.
  • Future Engineers: This club is open to students who are interested in pursuing a career in engineering. They meet regularly to learn about different types of engineering, participate in hands-on activities and take part in volunteer opportunities in the community.
  • Ukulele: This club is open to students who are interested in learning how to play the ukulele, a small guitar-like instrument. The club meets regularly to practice playing and learn new songs.
