Central High School’s Varsity Boys’ Football Team is making history yet again! For the third time in school history, the Lions have advanced to the state semifinals, boasting an undefeated 9-0 record this season. The team’s outstanding performance on the field has been a source of pride and excitement for the entire Central High community.
This Saturday, the Lions will face off against the formidable Ridgewood Raiders at the State Stadium in Capital City. The Raiders, known for their strong defense and explosive plays, will be a tough opponent, but the Lions are ready to rise to the challenge.
Key players to watch include senior quarterback Marcus James, who has thrown for over 2,000 yards this season, running back Isaiah Green, whose 12 touchdowns have electrified the crowd, and defensive captain Ethan Rodriguez, who has anchored the Lions’ dominant defense.
The game kicks off at 7:00 PM, and we encourage all families and fans to show their support by attending the game. To make it easier for everyone to cheer on the Lions, the school is offering optional transportation to the stadium. Buses will depart from the Central High parking lot at 3:30 PM. Tickets for the bus ride are $10 per person and must be reserved by Friday at 12:00 PM through the school’s front office. CLICK HERE
