The Edlio Central High School Robotics team had been preparing for the 2022 state robotics contest for months, and their hard work paid off when they took home the gold medal for the third year in a row.
The team consisted of six high school students, all with a passion for robotics and a drive to succeed. They spent countless hours designing and building their robot, fine-tuning every detail to ensure it was ready for competition.
The day of the contest arrived, and the Edlio Robotics team was nervous but ready. They knew they had a strong robot and a well-thought-out strategy, but they also knew that the competition would be fierce.
As the first round of the contest began, the team took to the field. Their robot moved with precision, executing each task flawlessly. The team worked seamlessly together, communicating and making adjustments on the fly. As the day went on, the team continued to dominate. They won match after match, earning them a spot in the championship round.
The final match was intense, with both teams giving it their all. But in the end, it was the Edlio Robotics team that came out on top, securing the gold medal and cementing their place as the top robotics team in the state.
As they accepted their award, the team was overwhelmed with emotion. They had worked so hard and it had all paid off. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for them and their robotics program.
